Stage Coach Series Silver Dollar by PCGS
 

I saw a bunch of these on APMEX that are very pretty; but I don't know what "Stage Coach Series Silver Dollar by PCGS" means. Does it have to do when where/when they were minted or what? The numismatic premium seems to be modest. Do you think they would make good investments?

I had called them in the past, they are nothing more than morgan era silver dollars, stagecoach series is just a catch all phrase to induce buyers.

Well, that's depressing. But, then, they also have "GSA (Carson City) Silver Dollars." So there must be SOME difference. On the other hand, I've searched the Internet for "Stage Coach Series Silver Dollar" and come up empty handed. It's apparently not a BIG deal.

It's good to know. Being new to this, I've searched the Internet for what "stage coach series" means, too, and never turned up anything. It's kind of a cool name for them...conjures up great images..., but it's disappointing to find out it's just a marketing ploy.
